If you will be mentoring undergraduate students this summer or any time next year you are invited to participate in this workshop. The Mentor Training Workshop is a half-day meeting facilitated by faculty with extensive experiences mentoring undergraduate students. The workshop is intended to help young faculty, postdocs, and graduate students who are in mentorship roles to improve their mentoring skills, and to improve the research experiences of the undergraduate students including summer REU students. The workshop will consist of the two panel discussions and four small group discussions of research mentoring case studies. Each small group discussion will be facilitated by a faculty member. In order to plan for the lunch we are asking all participants register here. Please review the Mentor Training Workshop preliminary agenda here.
