As part of Iowa State University, the School of Education benefits from the research culture of a large public research university that is also one of only 34 public members of the prestigious Association of American Universities. Faculty in the School of Education inquire into a range of educational issues using a variety of methodological approaches, always with the aim of contributing to and pushing conversations about educational theory, policy, and practice.
The vibrancy of our work is evident in the national acclaim of our faculty. We are particularly excited that two faculty recently received early career research awards from leading scholarly associations.
Natasha Croom, Assistant Professor, received the 2015 American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Emerging Scholars Award.
Amy Hutchison, Assistant Professor, received the 2014 Literacy Research Association (LRA) Early Career Achievement in Research Award.
