Online Literacy Coaching Certificate Program

The Literacy Coaching Certificate program consists of a series of advanced graduate level courses (17 semester credits) aimed at preparing eligible classroom teachers, instructional leaders, and other school personnel to serve in literacy leadership roles with the goal of improving teacher practices and student achievement in diverse PreK-12 school settings. Reading endorsement courses

The Educator Preparation Program offers courses that can lead to a reading endorsement for grades K-8. The School of Education collaborates with the English Department to offer the necessary coursework for a 5-12 reading endorsement.

Fred Duffelmeyer Reading Improvement Clinic

reading-clinic-webThe Fred Duffelmeyer Reading Improvement Clinic offers tutoring in reading for children who are entering the 1st through the12th grades. Tutoring sessions are conducted by advanced students in reading and related areas under the guidance of the literacy education faculty.
