What kind of teacher will you be?

If you are just beginning to think about becoming a teacher, this is a great time to start investigating and envisioning the kind of teaching you want to do:

What age group or level do you want to teach?

• Early childhood: birth through grade 3
• Elementary: kindergarten through grade 8
• High school: secondary — grades 5 through 12

What subject do you want to teach?

• Undergraduate core subject majors to base your teaching degree on
• Additional subject options to add to your degree as an endorsement
• Graduate options for special subjects that lead to licensure
