At Iowa State University, our Secondary Education Program encourages you to become an expert in your subject matter by majoring in your content area. There are 13 undergraduate licensure areas offered at Iowa State University. First, you choose your major. Then you apply to our Education Preparation Program, upon acceptance and successful completion of the program you will be recommended for an initial license and become an educator. You will have the opportunity for clinical experiences aligned to your coursework from early on in your program.
