Geographically the size of Colorado, New Zealand is one of the worlds’ least crowded countries. You’ll have more room to take in its mountains, volcanoes, beaches, fjords and rainforests.
You’ll teach in the country’s Central Otago region on the south island, where you’ll work with a national curriculum centered on outcome-based instruction. If you work with elementary students, you’ll become a “generalist,” planning activities in physical education, music and the performing arts. If you’re pursuing a secondary license, you’ll help prepare the students at a nationally recognized school for a lifetime of learning.
