Experience teaching in one of the highest ranked junior high/high school's in Eastern Europe! The students attending school at the Complex of Schoools in Krosno, Poland are highly motivated learners - ages 14-19 years - who have been selected to attend this school based on their academic achievment and leadership potential. Located in Southeastern Poland, along the River Wislok in the Carpathian Mountains region, the lovely community of Krosno is a rich mix of the "old" and the "new". Museums and the Old Market Square are common attractions to this community of about 48,000 while also becoming a regional draw for outdoor adventure. Their professional class Ropes Course is a popular regional attraction and there is a rich community of artists creating crystal and other glassware.
Housing Arrangement Description: The school has dormitory–style housing that would be shared with another ISU student teacher. It is on the school campus and allows for fully independent living, complete with internet. It has a private bathroom, LR, BR, with linens and towels provided. There is no cooking facility, but food is inexpensive and can easily be carried in from nearby bakeries and café’s. Breakfast can be eaten at the school if desired.
